Vacancy: Refractive Surgery Fellowship
| Dear colleague or resident in training, We are hereby reopening a vacancy for the fellowship in anterior segment and refractive surgery, running from 1 October 2027 to 30 September 2028. This is a full-time (9/10) 12-month fellowship, to be carried out both in a hospital setting and on an outpatient basis. Candidates will have the opportunity to actively participate in consultations in refractive and general ophthalmology, and to perform surgery under supervision and/or independently. Cataract surgery using the Catalys laser, with monofocal, multifocal and EDOF lenses, ICL, femto-LASIK, SMILE and Presbyond, forms part of the weekly routine. You will also be taught the basics of eyelid surgery. The aim of the fellowship is to enable you to achieve a high degree of autonomy in this subspeciality by the end of the programme. A pleasant manner and a professional attitude towards colleagues and staff are considered essential. Please submit your application by email by 15 December 2026. |
