The WHO states that the most important health issue affecting the world's population is climate change and pollution. Just by carrying out our work as health professionals, we are adding to this problem. In this ICC, we will give participants a short explanation of why sustainability is important and practical tips on how you can practise ophthalmology more sustainably, and also save costs, from consultations to prescribing to practice logistics and carrying out ophthalmic procedures.
