Leukocoria in a child is the sign that demands immediate attention of the eye specialist because it can be related to pathologies threatening life or visual function of the eye.
We will present differential diagnosis to keep in mind and focus on three most frequent origins of leukocoria: congenital cataract, retinoblastoma and retinal detachment with particular focus on retinopathy of prematurity.
