ICC-6: Myopia management in children - Facing the Myopia Epidemic

The rising prevalence and the risks of sight-threatening ocular pathology associated with myopia are well documented. The myopia epidemic has become impossible to ignore. 

Given the rapidly increasing incidence of the condition with its significant social and economic burden, myopia progression should be managed rather than just observed.

Different current and future treatment modalities, to prevent the onset of myopia and its progression, will be presented.
