TitreDiplopia caused by convergence insufficiency
ButTo describe a more frequent cause of diplopia than it may seem.
MéthodesSeveral clinical cases will be evoked to illustrate the symptoms and the treatment possibilities of convergence insufficiency.
RésultatsConvergence insufficiency is generally a progressive decompensated condition. It has nevertheless its place in the work-up of an acute diplopia.
ConclusionThe stress induced by "seeing double" can lead the patient to an emergency consultation, even in case of convergence insufficiency, an usually progressive condition.
