Titel	Treatment of Metastatic Uveal Melanoma

Doel	Description of the various treatments and follow-up of metastatic uveal melanoma patients. Assesment whether the introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors improved survival.
Methodes	retrospective single-center study.
Resultaten	121 metastatic uveal melanoma patients were registered. No significant improvement of the survival could be established after the introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors. Only liver-directed and local oligometastatic approaches were associated with a lower chance of mortality when compared tot immune checkpoint inhibitors (p=0.0025).
Conclusie	Although we documented responses tot immune checkpoint inhibitors, our analyses do not demonstrate an overall survival improvement of checkpoint inhibitors over alternative treatment strategies. However, local treatment options, whether liver-directed or for oligometastatic disease, may be beneficial and should be considerd.
