Title	Out of the blue... a case of orbital Ewing sarcoma mimicking a vascular lesion

Purpose	We aimed to report a rare case of orbital Ewing sarcoma in the instance of a presumed benign lesion.
Methods	This is a clinical case poster. The patient is a 22-year-old woman presenting to the Emergency Department with swelling of the lateral aspect of the left superior eyelid for the last three months. The lesion is blue/purple, soft, well-defined; it clinically resembles a benign vascular lesion.
Results	A computed tomography scan was performed and demonstrated a well-defined enhancing lesion. The tumor was then surgically removed. Histopathologic testing showed Ewing sarcoma. The patient was then referred to an oncologist for systemic staging and treatment.
Conclusion	Ewing sarcoma is a rare, aggressive malignant tumor arising from primordial bone marrow-derived stem cells in children or teenagers. Though commonly located in leg or pelvic bones, it can also affect soft tissues around bones, including the orbit. In this particular location, as outlined in our case, the lesion can be mistaken for a benign tumor until biopsy results.
